Family owned and operated since 1946, Bollinger Shipyards, Inc. is in the business of ship repairs, conversions and constructs small to medium-sized offshore and inland vessels. Its headquarters is in Lockport, Louisiana; and, currently operates eight certified shipyards located throughout South Louisiana.

Bollinger has delivered over sixty patrol boats since 1985; they range in size from 87 to 170 feet. Recently, Bollinger Shipyards, Inc. has developed an offshore supply vessel which has capacities of 30,000 gallons of fuel, 65,000 gallons of drill water/ballast, 1200 barrels of 22lb. liquid mud and 40,000 gallons of methanol. In addition to the aforementioned below deck storage capacity, there is deck space available that can handle up to 400 long tons of cargo. It has also constructed the U.S. Army Barge Derrick. The Barge Derrick is capable of lifting 115 long tons and its primary occupation is the loading and discharging of heavy lift cargo beyond the capability of a ship's gear.
