Attorney Meisenkothen graduated from the University of Connecticut in 1996 with a Bachelor of Arts in History and Sociology with Distinction in History. He was inducted into Phi Alpha Theta, the national history honor society, in 1995. He graduated from the University of Connecticut School of Law in 1999 where he was an Articles Editor on the Connecticut Journal of International Law, a member of the Connecticut Moot Court Board and a member of Phi Delta Phi, the international legal fraternity.

Attorney Meisenkothen is the author of "Chemical Castration - Breaking the Cycle of Paraphiliac Recidivism," 26 Soc. Just. 139 (1999), "Subseabed Disposal of Nuclear Waste: An International Policy Perspective," 14 Conn. J. Int'l L. 631 (1999), and "To Bar or not to Bar, That is the Question: Does the Exclusivity Provision of the Connecticut Products Liability Act bar any and all claims under the Connecticut Unfair Trade Practices Act?" Quinnipiac L. Rev. (2004) (forthcoming).

Attorney Meisenkothen joined the firm in August of 1999. He practices in the areas of products liability, personal injury and workers' compensation, including asbestos, toxic torts, nursing home litigation and benzene/leukemia cases. He is admitted to practice in Connecticut, New York, Maine and Georgia and in the U.S. District Courts for the Districts of Connecticut and Northern Texas. He is a member of the Association of Trial Lawyers of America (litigation and nursing home sections), the Connecticut Trial Lawyers Association, the American Bar Association, the Connecticut Bar Association, the New York State Bar Association, the New York State Trial Lawyers Association and the Maine State Bar Association.
