Robert Sweeney
Attorney Sweeney graduated Magna Cum Laude from Providence College in 1974. He then graduated from the University of Connecticut School of Law with honors in 1977. For the past 25 years, attorney Sweeney has represented hundreds of mesothelioma victims and their families. He believes that only through hard work, preparation, and personal attention can the victim of asbestos poisoning obtain the justice which he or she deserves. Attorney Sweeney works tirelessly with his clients and their families so that the courts, the juries and the asbestos defendants fully know and appreciate a client's life story and suffering.
Attorney Sweeney has prepared and tried mesothelioma cases in the courts of Rhode Island, Connecticut and New York. He is an experienced and successful trial attorney in both State and Federal Courts, having argued appeals before the Connecticut Supreme Court and the The United States Court of Appeals for the Second Circuit in New York City.
Bob Sweeney arrived a few weeks later and worked with me, asked questions and investigated my work history. Bob helped alleviate the stress of doing a deposition. Bob worked with us in good times and in bad during the numerous issues that I incurred. I felt free to call upon him at any time.
