Effective Tuesday, September 1, 2026, the Trustees of the T H Agriculture & Nutrition, L.L.C. Asbestos Personal Injury Trust announced a payment percentage increase from 15% to 16.3%. The Trust was established to compensate eligible asbestos claims involving exposure to raw asbestos fibers distributed by T H Agriculture & Nutrition or asbestos-containing products made with those fibers.

The Trustees periodically review and adjust the payment percentage based on available assets, projected claims, and other financial considerations. This helps preserve funds to provide fair compensation to current and future claimants.

Claimants previously paid at a lower percentage may receive a supplemental payment in accordance with the Trust Distribution Procedures (TDP). These payments account for the difference between the previous payment percentage and the new, higher rate.

T H Agriculture & Nutrition distributed raw chrysotile asbestos fibers to companies that used them to manufacture asbestos-containing products, including insulation and other construction materials. Workers exposed to these fibers or products faced an increased risk of developing mesothelioma and other asbestos-related diseases.
